Los Padres ForestWatch, a local nonprofit conservation organization, is coordinating the campaign to protect the Carrizo Plain. In addition to maintaining this website, we are educating the public through print and social media, town halls, op-eds, and information booths. Our goal is to generate 10,000 letters to Secretary Zinke, showing overwhelming local support for keeping the Carrizo Plain a national monument.
